Dina Kay is a New York State–licensed attorney, former professor, and longtime educator with over 15 years of experience in education, academic support, and student mentorship. She founded the Child Advocacy Association while in law school and maintains a longstanding commitment to child advocacy.
With degrees in psychology, political science, and law, Dina brings a structured, problem-solving approach to her work, paired with a supportive, student-centered style that emphasizes clarity, confidence-building, and practical progress.
She provides academic support and coaching for students from elementary school through college and speaks to students, teachers, and parents on academic success, motivation, and student development. She also partners with families and schools to strengthen academic engagement, student retention, and organizational structure to support stronger academic outcomes.
Dina believes every student can succeed when provided with the right tools, realistic goals, and personalized mentorship. She works closely with students to overcome limiting beliefs, strengthen academic skills, build accountability, and develop self-discipline.
Her approach helps students take ownership of their learning and develop the mindset needed for long-term academic success. It also reduces the need for parents and teachers to act as the “homework or behavior police,” allowing them to focus on maintaining a positive, supportive relationship with the student.
While she does not provide legal, medical, psychological, or other licensed professional services, Dina may, upon request, offer referrals to trusted professionals.
